Ingredients

500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

1 cup broccoli florets

1/2 cup snow peas

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked jasmine rice, for serving

Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 20-30 minutes.

Prepare the Vegetables: While the beef is marinating, wash and slice the bell pepper, and cut the broccoli into florets. Set all the vegetables aside.

Sauté the Aromatics: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cook the Beef: Increase the heat to high and add the marinated beef to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, broccoli, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are vibrant and tender but still crisp.

Combine Everything: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Drizzle with sesame oil, and stir everything together to combine. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately over a bed of cooked jasmine rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
