Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) of pre-made pizza dough

1 cup ground beef or turkey

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

1/2 cup sour cream (for dipping)

Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until fully browned. Drain any excess fat, then add the taco seasoning according to package instructions. Mix in the diced tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to create a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Cut the dough into strips, about 2 inches wide and 6 inches long.

Place a spoonful of the taco mixture in the center of each strip, then top with a mixture of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and add a few olives and green onions if using.

Fold the sides of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly, then roll to form a stick shape. Place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the taco sticks with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve with sour cream for dipping and garnish with fresh cilantro.
