Ingredients

For the Cowboy Butter:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sliders:

1 pound flank steak or sirloin, trimmed

Salt and pepper to taste

6 slider buns, preferably brioche for added richness

6 slices cheddar cheese

Pickled jalapeños or sliced dill pickles for garnish

Fresh arugula or lettuce for topping (optional)

Instructions

Make the Cowboy Butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with parsley, chives, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Spoon onto a piece of plastic wrap, roll into a log, and refrigerate until firm (about 1 hour).

Prepare the Steak: Season the flank steak with salt and pepper generously on both sides. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Cook the Steak: Once the grill is hot, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on your preferred doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the steak thinly against the grain. Lightly toast the slider buns on the grill. On the bottom half of each bun, place a slice of steak, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a dollop of the Cowboy Butter on top.

Add Toppings: Add any additional toppings such as pickled jalapeños or arugula to your slider, then place the top half of the bun on each slider.

Serve: Serve the sliders warm with a side of your favorite dipping sauce or fries.
