Ingredients

1 lb flank steak (or your preferred cut)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups cooked brown rice (or quinoa)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1 cup corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)

1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup shredded lettuce (romaine or mixed greens)

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 lime, cut into wedges

Optional: Your favorite dressing or salsa

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat the flank steak with the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

Cook the Steak: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side (or to your desired doneness). Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium. Once cooked, remove the steak and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Prepare the Base: While the steak is resting, prepare the base of your bowl by dividing the cooked brown rice (or quinoa) among serving bowls.

Assemble the Bowl: Top the rice with:

          - Sliced steak

            - Cherry tomatoes

              - Avocado slices

                - Corn

                  - Black beans

                    - Shredded lettuce

                      - Red onion

                        - Cilantro

Add Final Touches: Squeeze fresh lime juice over each bowl and drizzle with your favorite dressing or salsa if desired.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
