Ingredients

4 slices of garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)

4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon minced garlic (fresh or jarred)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Butter the Bread: Spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of garlic bread.

Assemble the Sandwich: Place two slices of garlic bread, buttered side down, in a skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Layer two slices of cheese on top of each piece of bread.

Top the Sandwich: Cover the cheese with the remaining two slices of garlic bread, buttered side up.

Grill the Sandwich: Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side, until the cheese is melty and the bread is golden brown.

Serve: Once grilled to perfection, remove from heat. Allow to cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve warm.

Enjoy: Pair with a side of marinara sauce or a bowl of tomato soup for dipping!
