1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

For the Savory Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

8 oz (225g) fettuccine or your favorite pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pasta:

    - Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

      Cook the Chicken Bites:

        - In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

          - Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and sprinkle them with onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

            - In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute). Remove from heat.

              Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:

                - In another skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.

                  - Bring to a simmer and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Once the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy, season it with salt and black pepper to taste.

                    - If the sauce is too thick, gradually whisk in some reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.

                      Combine:

                        - Add the cooked pasta to the creamy Parmesan sauce, tossing to coat.

                          - Gently fold in the garlic butter chicken bites and mix until everything is well combined.

                            Serve:

                              - Divide the garlic butter chicken and creamy pasta among bowls.
