Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, about 1 to 1.5 inches.

Marinate: In a large bowl, combine the hot honey, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss the salmon cubes gently in the marinade until evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Arrange Salmon Bites: Place the marinated salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they’re spaced out for even cooking.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish: Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro or parsley for added flavor and presentation.

Serve: Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the salmon bites.
