Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, salmon is a powerhouse of essential fats that support heart health, brain function, and overall well-being. A single serving of salmon provides a significant amount of protein, making it an excellent option for those looking to maintain or build muscle. Additionally, salmon is loaded with vitamins such as B12, which plays a crucial role in energy production and neurological function, and vitamin D, essential for bone health.

Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces.

Make the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Coat the Salmon: Add the salmon cubes to the bowl with the marinade and toss gently to coat all pieces evenly.

Bake the Salmon: Arrange the salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Prepare the Hot Honey Sauce: While the salmon is baking, in a small saucepan over low heat, combine the hot honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir until warmed through and slightly thinned.

Glaze the Salmon: Once the salmon bites are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the hot honey sauce over them, or toss the bites in the sauce for an even coating.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the glazed salmon bites to a serving platter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
