Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 ounces of mozzarella cheese, cut into strips

4 ounces of pepperoni slices

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place them on the prepared baking sheet with the point facing away from you.

Fill the Dough: On the wide end of each triangle, place a few slices of pepperoni followed by a strip of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning over the cheese.

Roll the Croissants: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll each triangle towards the point, ensuring the filling is tucked inside. Place them seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Add Egg Wash: Brush the tops of each rolled croissant with the beaten egg using a pastry brush for a nice golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are puffed and golden brown.

Serve: Once baked, remove the croissant rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 rolls
