1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional toppings: chopped walnuts, shredded coconut, or whipped cream

Instructions

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Once melted, sprinkle in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well to combine the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.

Carefully add the sliced bananas to the skillet, ensuring they are coated with the butter mixture.

Sauté the bananas for 2-3 minutes on one side, then gently flip them over using a spatula. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown and caramelized.

Add the vanilla extract and lemon juice to the skillet, gently stirring to coat the bananas evenly. Allow to cook for 1 more minute to allow the flavors to meld.
