Ingredients

1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic (minced)

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

1 teaspoon lime juice

Salt and pepper (to taste)

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup shredded cabbage

1 avocado (sliced)

Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, chili powder, red pepper flakes (if using), lime juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

While the shrimp is marinating, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

Once the garlic is ready, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

Meanwhile, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.

To assemble the tacos, place a generous portion of shrimp on each tortilla, then top with shredded cabbage, sliced avocado, and fresh cilantro.

Serve tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing.
