Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 egg, beaten

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil (for grilling)

Burger buns (your preference)

Toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, mayonnaise or any condiment you like

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and chopped parsley. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated, but avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.

Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties. Make them slightly wider than your burger buns, as they will shrink while cooking.

Preheat the Grill: Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and add olive oil to the surface to prevent sticking.

Cook the Burgers: Once hot, place the patties on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and they have a nice golden-brown color.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill if desired. Place a burger patty on each bun and top with your choice of lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, and condiments.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve the burgers hot and enjoy a delicious twist on a classic chicken burger!
